Kyrgyzstan’s new bantamweight (56kg) sensation Akylbek Esenbek Uulu was involved to the national team only in the end of 2019 but he progressed well and claimed silver medal at the Belgrade Winner Tournament last month. Mirzokhid Imamnazarov is even younger, he turned to 20 only this March and after his youth experiences, the Dubai event will be his first major elite championship.
Dmitriy Puchnin amazed in the last edition of the Kyrgyz National Championships, he robbed into the best boxers of the country and now he can do his best in Dubai as well. Nuradin Rustambek Uulu won a historical gold medal at the Ulaanbaatar 2019 ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships and he will be making his elite debut in Dubai.
Omurbek Bekzhigit Uulu is a native talent who began boxing only in 2015 but advanced to the quarter-finals in the 2019 edition in Bangkok. He is now more experienced and his aggressive style of boxing could be successful at the middleweight (75kg). Rio 2016 Olympian veteran Erkin Adylbek Uulu is also among the medal favourites at the light heavyweight (81kg).
Rustam Yrysbek Uulu is a 22-year-old talent at the heavyweight (91kg) who defeated the previous champions in Kyrgyzstan and competed already in a few top international events. Kyrgyzstan had difficulties at the super heavyweight (+91kg) in the recent one decade but Bekbolsun Toktosun Uulu could be their new option to manage the previous gap.
