Uzbek Tigers and China Dragons won teir WSB matches
The Uzbek Tigers defeated Astana Arlans Kazakhstan in Tashkent while China Dragons secured their first WSB success in Season VI
The Uzbek Tigers defeated Puerto Rico Hurricanes yesterday winning the match 5-0 but their next opponent was the best one in the World Series of Boxing. Astana Arlans Kazakhstan is the titleholder in the World Series of Boxing following their superb performance in Season V but this time in Tashkent the Uzbek Tigers defeated them 4-1.
Hasanboy Dusmatov defeated Kazakhstan’s Temirtas Zhussupov in the first preliminary round at the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Bangkok last August and he was able to repeat that performance in the opening bout of the key match. Following Dusmatov’s clear success in the front of the local crowd Abdulkhay Sharakhmatov proved the best boxing of the day and his great right-handed jabs against Meirbolat Toitov delivered another unanimous decision to the Uzbek Tigers.
Another Uzbek top talent 19-year-old Fazliddin Meliboev had some difficulties in the fourth round but he could control four rounds out of the five therefore he could beat Askhat Ualikhanov of Astana Arlans Kazakhstan. After three bouts it was pretty sure the Uzbek Tigers defeated the WSB Team Champion franchise in Tashkent but two further contests were also held in their world class encounter.
Astana Arlans Kazakhstan’s Meirim Nursultanov and Uzbek Tigers’ Hurshidbek Normatov both have done successful job in the Season V of the World Series of Boxing. The Kazakh Middleweight class (75 kg) boxer have done an incredible fourth and an amazing final round therefore Astana Arlans Kazakhstan won its first bout in Tashkent. In the final contest of the day Yerkin Mukhametzhan of Astana Arlans Kazakhstan was not able to keep his advantage until the final bell and lost to Mirzobek Khasanov of Uzbek Tigers.

The China Dragons was near to beat Türkiye Conquerors in their away contest in the Bagcilar Sport Complex in Istanbul on Week 1 but in their repeat match the home squad did memorable performance. China Dragons was able to win their first match in Season VI after beating Türkiye Conquerors 3-2 in the front of the local crowd.
China’s two-time World Military Games bronze medallist Fang Bo produced the best performance of the host franchise’s team who could beat Türkiye Conquerors’ London 2012 Olympic Games quarter-finalist Ferhat Pehlivan at the Flyweight class (52 kg). Cong Wenbin had great fighting spirit and delivered a narrow victory over 19-year-old Serhat Guler while in the key contest of their WSB match China’s new talent Mou Haipeng was able to beat his Turkish rival with superb performance.
