Training camp for Youth World Championships set in Benidorm

The Spanish Boxing Federation will be organizing an international training camp in the city of Benidorm in Alicante province to help athletes gear up for the IBA Youth Men’s & Women’s World Championships 2022.

The pre-world tournament training camp will roll off on October 30 at the Dynastic Hotel & Spa and will conclude on November 13, just a day before the start of the competition in La Nucia.

All the official weight classes for youth men and women will be covered in the training camp.

Participating national federations will be responsible for travel arrangements of their delegations from their respective countries to the Alicante Airport while the organizers will take care of local transportation.

Daily price of the training camp is set at 70 EUR per person for triple or quadruple occupancy, 80 EUR per person for double occupancy and 100 EUR for single occupancy. Payment must be made through bank transfer on or before October 15.

The Spanish Boxing Federation, led by its president Felipe Jose Martinez, will also host the traditional Boxam Youth Tournament from October 3 to 9 which can also help the World Championships participants adjust to the Spanish climate and environment prior to the main event.

The Youth Men’s & Women’s World Championships are scheduled to take place on November 14 to 27, with India eyeing to defend the overall title it seized in the previous edition held last year in Kielce, Poland.
