Thirty days to go to the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships
Thirty days left until the start of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships which will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka next month.
The President of the International Boxing Association, Mr. Umar Kremlev will support the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships with prize money in the amount of 100 000 USD, he confirmed that to the management of the Asian Boxing Confederation just yesterday.
The event period of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships in the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka is between May 10 and 24. There will be ITO Course also during the competition period of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships.
The first competition day of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships will take place in Colombo on May 12 while the finals are scheduled to be held in two last sessions on May 22 and 23.
Sri Lanka has bright boxing history from the beginning of the 20th century and the South Asian country hosted its first competitions more than 100 years ago.
The team delegations’ handbook of the forthcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships has been issued and sent to all of the National Federations earlier this month.
The logo of the upcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships has revealed and introduced to the stakeholders and all boxing fans a few weeks ago.
The boxers who were born in 2003, 2004, 2005 and in 2006 will be eligible to participate in the U22 age group in Colombo.
The boxers who are members of the 2007 and 2008 age groups will have the right to compete in the youth part of the busy championships.
