Thirteen Asian nations are participating in Budva

The IBA Youth World Boxing Championships confirmed the participation of 73 nations and 592 boxers in Budva, Montenegro. Plenty of the Asian nations and their top world class boxers are participating for the medals in Montenegro’s boxing capital.

Afghanistan, China, DPR Korea, Hong Kong, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Palestine, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are the participating 13 Asian nations in the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships.

Altogether 73 nations and 593 boxers are participating in the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Budva which makes the event the biggest competition of the globe this year. The number of the female boxers is 180 while 413 men are participating in Budva.

Boxers who were born in 2006 and in 2007, are eligible to participate in the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Budva. The daily weigh-in will be held in the Hotel Aleksandar between 7am and 8am in all of the competition days.

The women’s boxers can compete in 12 categories from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the heavyweight (+81kg). The men pugilists can participate in their 13 official divisions from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg).

The first competition day will start on October 23 and the finals are scheduled to be held on November 2 and 3 in Budva.
