Six young and talented girls won the finals at the recent Thailand Women’s National Championships in Muak Lek where Thipsatcha Yodwaree was named as the best female boxer of the competition.

Thailand qualified five women boxers to the Olympics but they have to miss the National Championships due to their training camps in Europe.

The Thai Air Force won the female team rankings in the National Championships following their three gold medals in the six final bouts.

Royal Navy’s Lalita Chainarong won medals in several of the previous ASBC Asian Boxing Championships as a junior, youth and U22 boxer. The 20-year-old had a tough and tight battle for the gold medal against Thanaporn Duangchuay but she succeeded with a 3:2 split decision victory.

Air Force’s Thipsatcha Yodwaree won the 2022 edition of the Thailand National Championships following her impressive junior and youth career. The 21-year-old boxer defeated Royal Thai Police’s Phachirapatsorn Pankhum in the final of the Olympic category, the light flyweight (50kg).

Royal Navy’s kick-boxing World Champion Nillada Meekoon returned to the boxing events and she won her fourth-in-a-row national title despite her young age of 22. The bantamweight (54kg) boxer landed decisive punches against the two-time Asian Youth Championships competitor, Panisa Kattipirot and she won their contest by RSC in the second round.

Air Force’s Apisada Tantawa represented Thailand at the 2022 edition of the Women’s World Boxing Championships and she was too strong for all of her rivals at the featherweight (57kg) including Worada Phutthakosa of Phitsanulok.

Another Air Force boxer, Panida Kaewkankhun, the Youth World Championships bronze medallist, has six years of experience in the major boxing events. The 21-year-old talent moved up to the lightweight (60kg) but she had the speed and strength to beat another international level boxer, Thararat Promwichai.

Noppaket Srisawat achieved a bronze medal at the lightweight (60kg) in the 2022 Thailand National Boxing Championships which she switched into a gold in the new edition. Ratchanawee’s Srisawat moved up to the welterweight (66kg) but she had the stamina to beat Air Force’s Prarisa Ngamsrisai in a hectic final.
