The young Uzbeks and the veteran Hasanboy Dusmatov train in Kislovodsk

The Uzbek elite boxing team trains in the city of Kislovodsk for three weeks between March 20 and April 9 to prepare well for the next actions. The biggest name in the squad is Hasanboy Dusmatov who won all of the main championships during his amazing career.
Kislovodsk is located in southwestern Russia and it has the elevation point of 800m which makes the spa city as a perfect preparation place for all teams.
Mr. Ozod Khasanov, Mr. Alimardon Dostonov, Mr. Ramziddin Akhmedov, Mr. Rustam Razzakov, Mr. Odil Allaberganov and Mr. Ilyas Rakhimzhanov are the Uzbek coaches in the joint training camp in Kislovodsk.
The number of the selected boxers is 27 and most of them are still in the U22 age group but one of their veterans, the boxing icon Hasanboy Dusmatov are also training in Kislovodsk. The flyweight (51kg) boxer will turn 32 this year but he is still active to achieve his next goals.
The 22-year-old Shodiyorjon Melikuziev is the reigning ASBC Asian Champion at the minimumweight (48kg) and he has strong sparring partners in Kislovodsk. The 2021 Youth World Champion Shakzhod Muzaffarov started the year at the Strandja Memorial Tournament with a gold medal.
The promising Adkhamjon Mukhiddinov won the title at the light welterweight (63.5kg) in the recent ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships three months ago. The two-time ASBC Asian U22 Champion Dilshod Abdumurodov is also a top name in the Uzbek squad and he wants to progress in this camp.
Their light middleweight (71kg) boxer, Bekzod Khamidov won several international tournaments and he returned to the squad after a short break.
The ASBC Asian U22 Champion Jasurbek Yuldashev, the ASBC Asian Youth Champion Nusratbek Tokhirov and the Youth World bronze medallist Shokhjakhon Abdullayev are all well-experienced boxers.
Their next generations of boxers as the 18-year-old Bekhruz Kholdorov, Sobirjon Tastanov, Nodirbek Allaberganov, Samandar Olimov, the ASBC Asian U22 Champion Abdullokh Madaminov, Sayat Ilyasov, Rakhmatullo Boymatov and Shakhzod Polvonov all won several junior and youth competitions during their career.
