The Uzbekistan Elite National Championships starts today

One of the important competitions, the Uzbekistan Elite National Championships will be starting in Tashkent with its official draw and technical meeting today.

The Uzbekistan Elite National Championships will be held for their top women and men boxers in the city of Tashkent between January 20 and 28.

The first competition day of the Uzbekistan Elite National Championships is January 21 and the finals are scheduled to be held on January 28.

The Uzbekistan Elite National Championships will be a selection competition for the main events in 2025 which looks another busy year for all of the boxers.

Among their top girls, the Asian Champions such as Feruza Kazakova, Sabina Bobokulova, Nigina Uktamova, Sitora Turdibekova, Navbakhor Khamidova and Aziza Zokirova are all have strong chance in the national event.

Uzbekistan’s Asian Games bronze medallist and ASBC Asian Champion Turabek Khabibullayev and their World Champion Ruslan Abdullayev are also planning to participate in the busy and world-class competition.

Tashkent hosted the 2023 edition of the Men’s Elite World Boxing Championships and the 2022 ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships in the recent years, also the 2017 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships.

Uzbekistan’s top athletes amazed in the recent ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand, despite their best boxers had to miss the competition.

The women elite boxers will be able to compete in all of the 12 categories from the minimumweight (48kg) up to heavyweight (+81kg) in Tashkent.

The men boxers will participate in 13 categories in Tashkent from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg). Their best hopes can expect hard battles to take the titles in one of the strongest competitions of the world.

The last edition of the Uzbekistan National Championships delivered amazing semi-finals and finals in Tashkent on November-December 2023. Feruza Kazakova, Sitora Turdibekova, Ruslan Abdullayev, Khavasbek Asadullayev, Turabek Khabibullayev and Lazizbek Mullojonov won the most important weight categories in Tashkent last time.
