The Turkmenistan Boxing Federation plans to host their Junior National Championships with a R&J Course
The Turkmenistan Boxing Federation hosted its Youth National Championships in March and they are planning to arrange their next in the month of July together with a Referee & Judge Course to develop their grassroots.
The next edition of the Turkmenistan Junior National Championships is planning to be hosted in their capital city in Ashgabat where all of the facilities, the competition venue and training options are in world-class level.
Boxers who were born in 2008 and in 2009 will be eligible to compete in the forthcoming Turkmenistan Junior National Championships. The management of the Turkmenistan Boxing Federation opened the national event for their women’s boxers as well.
The best junior boxers from Turkmenistan amazed in the last ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships where their 16-year-old Dayanch Durdynepesov won a historic title following his gold medal at the light welterweight (63kg).
The technician genius Sanjar Hamrayev (48kg), and Abdalla Hojayev (50kg) both claimed silver medals in the 2023 edition in Astana. Seitjan Babajanov (54kg) were their bronze medallist at the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships last November.
The junior talents will be able to compete in the national event from all regions of Turkmenistan: Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary and the capital city of Ashgabat.
The Referee & Judge Course is also among the plans to host it together with the Junior National Championships. Turkmenistan has a few high level Referees & Judges but their management thinks that more
Mr. Durdymammet Kuljayev, the Secretary General of the Turkmenistan Boxing Federation, arranges more events and courses in the country to develop all aspects of boxing in the Central Asian country. The competition will be a selection for the upcoming ASBC Asian Junior & Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Boxing Championships which will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
