The Technical Meeting of the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships confirmed the participation of 149 boxers from 20 countries

The Technical Meeting of the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships took place in Bangkok, Thailand at the Alexander Hotel’s conference room.

The Technical Delegate of the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships is Mrs. Karina Picson of the Philippines who led the meeting in Bangkok. ASBC Secretary General Mr. Ali Salameh, ASBC Competition Manager Mr. Bassam Ghanem and the ASBC Sports Director Mr. Kraitach Kaewkate all represented the Technical Meeting.

The roll call recognized that 20 countries are taking part in the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships which is a strong development since the 2022 edition. Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam are the participating countries in Bangkok.

The total number of U22 boxers is 149 including 54 female and 95 male athletes in Bangkok, Thailand. The daily weigh-in starts from 07:00 until 07:30 for the women boxers and 07:30 to 08:00 for the men athletes. The accreditation card is the only one which the boxer need to bring to the

There is no bout review in this tournament which means all of the results will be final. The Green Hill is the provider of the equipment in the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships as in the previous editions. Mrs. Karina Picson introduced the rules about the boxers’ uniforms, the anti-doping procedures, the attitude about the championship, and the IBA Disciplinary Code.

Thainado will be responsible to collect the required samples and athletes must comply with them during the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships. The details of the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships will be available in the ASBC website, Facebook page, YouTube channel and ASBC mobile application.
