The Technical Meeting of the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships was held in Ho Chi Minh City
The Technical Meeting was held in the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships in the First Place Hotel which is the official accommodation of the team delegations. The ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships is an important step for our continent’s best female elite boxers in their road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The President of the Vietnam Boxing Federation Mr. Tran Minh Tien opened the Technical Meeting in the First Place Hotel and welcomed all of the delegations in Ho Chi Minh City. ASBC Executive Director Mr. Bagdaulet Turekhanov mentioned the importance of the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships in his speech and underlined Mr. Serik Konakbayev supported Cambodia’s and DPR Korea’s accommodation costs to compete here in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mrs. Shelly Miranda is the Supervisor of the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships who led the Technical Meeting and informed all delegations about the schedule of the competition, the new rules, the equipments, the requirements during the competition and other important issues as well.
Each boxer must bring their boxer’s competition record book, accreditation card and AIBA Medical Certificate to the General weigh-in tomorrow morning. All participants shall to follow the AIBA Disciplinary Code and respect for all rules of the championships in Ho Chi Minh City.
Bouts will consist of three rounds of three minutes while the rest time is one minute between the rounds according to the new AIBA rules. Draw of the judges will be used by the Swiss Timing computer system during the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships.
