The Technical Meeting and the Official Draw of the Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Festival confirmed the participation of 117 boxers
Following the Grand Opening Ceremony of the 2nd Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Festival, the Technical Meeting and the Official Draw were held in Urumqi, Xinjiang Province, China today.
Kazakhstan’s Mr. Kairat Zhumankulov is the Technical Delegate of the 2nd Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Festival, while Mr. Wang Zhujing is the Deputy Technical Delegate in Urumqi. Mr. Arafat is the Competition Manager and Mr. Fu Xinyu is the Xinjiang Boxing Federation’s representative in the event.
Mr. Kairat Zhumankulov underlined the schedule of the competition, the discipline codes, the information about the uniforms, daily weigh-in, medal protocols and all of the other competition related details in the Technical Meeting.
The official and full name of the competition is the Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Gala and Sports Lottear Cup, Xinjiang, China International Boxing Invitational. The Chinese Boxing Federation, the Xinjiang Boxing Federation and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Municipal Government are the organizers of the Festival.
Altogether 30 youth girls, 43 youth boys and 44 elite men boxers are participating in Urumqi, representing 12 teams. China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Chinese Taipei, Tajikistan, Thailand, and Uzbekistan are the attending nations in the event.

October 6, 8:30-9:30 – Medical and Daily weigh-in at the Xinjiang Sports Vocational and Technical College
October 6, 15:00 & 21:00 – Day1 competition at the Yema International Base
October 7, 9:30-10:30 – Medical and Daily weigh-in at the Xinjiang Sports Vocational and Technical College
October 7, 15:00 & 21:00 – Day2 competition at the Yema International Base
October 8, 9:30-10:30 – Medical and Daily weigh-in at the Xinjiang Sports Vocational and Technical College
October 8, 15:00 & 21:00 – Day3 competition at the Yema International Base
October 9, 9:30-10:30 – Medical and Daily weigh-in at the Xinjiang Sports Vocational and Technical College
October 9, 15:00 & 21:00 – Day4 competition at the Yema International Base
October 10 – Departure of the delegations
