The next edition of the Uzbekistan Elite National Championships will be held for their top women and men boxers in the city of Tashkent between January 20 and 28.
Tashkent hosted the 2023 edition of the Men’s Elite World Boxing Championships and the 2022 ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships in the recent years.
Uzbekistan’s top athletes amazed in the recent ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships in Chiang Mai, Thailand, despite their best boxers had to miss the competition.
The Uzbekistan Elite National Championships will be a selection competition for the main events in 2025 which looks another busy year for all of the boxers.
The women elite boxers will be able to compete in all of the 12 categories from the minimumweight (48kg) up to heavyweight (+81kg) in Tashkent.
The men boxers will participate in 13 categories in Tashkent from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg). Their best hopes can expect hard battles to take the titles in one of the strongest competitions of the world.
Uzbekistan had impressive youth team in 2024 and several of their new young stars from Budva and Astana will be there in the Elite National Championships.
The last edition of the Uzbekistan National Championships delivered amazing semi-finals and finals in Tashkent on November-December 2023. Feruza Kazakova, Sitora Turdibekova, Ruslan Abdullayev, Khavasbek Asadullayev, Turabek Khabibullayev and Lazizbek Mullojonov won the most important weight categories in Tashkent last time.
