The new Nations Women’s Cup will feature in the city of Sombor on mid-
The Serbian Boxing Federation is active in the boxing map and they host several international competitions every year for all of the Confederations and National Federations. Their 13th edition of the Nations Women’s Cup is another preparation competition for the upcoming 1st World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event which will be held in Sombor, Serbia on January 14-22, 2024.
The upcoming edition of the Nations Women’s Cup will be held in all of the four female age groups: elite, youth, junior and schoolgirls. The first competition day is January 16 in Sombor while the finals will be taking place at the Mostonga Sports Hall on January 21.
The 13th Nations Women’s Cup will be live streamed in the website of the Serbian Boxing Federation as all of the previous editions. The Tournament Director Mr. Jovan Panic welcomes National Federations from each Confederation in the city of Sombor.
The first edition of the Nations Women’s Cup took place in Sombor ten years ago in 2012. Among the stars of female boxing, Netherlands’ Rio 2016 Olympic Games silver medallist Nouchka Fontijn, Romania’s veteran Steluta Duta, Kazakhstan’s AIBA Women’s World Champion Dina Zholaman, Bulgaria’s EUBC European Women’s Champion Stoyka Petrova and China’s Asian Games winner Chang Yuan also won the titles in the previous editions of the Nations Women’s Cup in Serbia.
The Croatian Steko sisters, the new Azeri talents, and England’s EUBC European Junior Champions duo all shined in the fifth day of boxing on the 12th Nations Women’s Cup nearly one year ago. Croatia’s Sara Beram and Slovakia’s Nicole Durikova both won strong battles in the elite part of the competition during the 12th edition. The Dutch youth stars continued their winning path while Hungary and England also impressed in the last competition day of the 2023 Nations Women’s Cup.

2005-2006 born boxers can compete in the youth event
2007-2008 born boxers can attend in the junior event
2009-2010 born boxers can compete in the schoolgirl event

48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 81kg, and +81kg for the elite women boxers
