The new Chairmans of the ASBC Commissions are revealed

The new Chairmans of the ASBC Commissions are approved and revealed by the management of the Asian Boxing Confederation before the start of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships. The Chairmans are confirmed by the President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Anas Alotaiba and ASBC Executive Director Mr. Ali Salameh.
The Chairmans of the six ASBC Commissions are representing all regions of our continent who will be responsible for their topics to develop our sport in Asia. Next to the traditional five Commissions the management of the Asian Boxing Confederation established the new ASBC Marketing Commission.

The new Chairmans of the ASBC Commissions:
1. ASBC Coaches Commission – Mr. Zhang Chuanliang, China
The President of the Chinese Boxing Federation was the head coach of their national team between 2004 and 2012 before he was elected to his current position. The Chinese boxing official was elected as President exactly two years ago and he has all the experiences to support the Asian coaches in the upcoming years.

2. ASBC Competition Commission – Mr. Kishen Narsi, India
Mr. Kishen Narsi has been serving the World’s and Asia’s boxing life more than 50 years following his sport career. The experienced Indian was official already in the Bangkok 1978 Asian Games and he officiated three Olympic Games as Referee & Judge. He was named as AIBA Best Technical Delegate in 2009 and worked hundreds of international events.

3. ASBC Refereeing & Judging Commission – Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib, Syria
Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib was involved to the world of boxing in the ‘70s and he attended several Olympic Games as Referee & Judge in the recent decades. He was appointed as President of the Syrian Boxing Federation still in the ‘80s and officiated also hundreds of international events as Kishen Narsi of India. The last ASBC Refereeing & Judging Commission Meeting was led by Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib.

4. ASBC Women’s Commission – Ms. Shelly Selowati H. Soejono, Indonesia
Former swimmer and Indonesia’s lone woman sport official Ms. Shelly Selowati H. Soejono is member of the AIBA Executive Committee and the ASBC Executive Committee. She worked as Supervisor of the Ho Chi Minh City 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Boxing Championships and several other big international events. Shelly is the main supporter of the development of women’s boxing in the whole globe.

5. ASBC Youth Commission – Mr. Wan Abdul Hamid, Malaysia
Mr. Wan Abdul Hamid is the Vice-President of the Malaysian Boxing Federation who started his work in boxing as President of the Penang Amateur Boxing Association. Malaysia’s leading boxing official supported several ASBC events as International Technical Official in the recent years.

6. ASBC Marketing Commission – Mr. Abdullah Alantali, United Arab Emirates
A new generation of the officials, Mr. Abdullah Alantali, who is Master in Business Administration, represented United Arab Emirates as Team Manager in the last edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Elite Boxing Championships in Bangkok. As the youngest member of the ASBC Chairmans, his motivation and knowledge could be the way of the future success.
