The money prize event, the first ever Asian Grand Slam will be held in Xiamen, China on December 18-22

Following the four different ASBC Championships, a new event will be held before the end of the year the Asian Grand Slam. The idea of the first ever Asian Grand Slam arisen many years ago but the project is now realized with the support of the Asian Boxing Confederation and BMA China.
The first ASBC Asian Boxing Championships was held for the elite boxers in Bangkok, Thailand this April. Kuwait City hosted the first ever ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships in August. The ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships was held for the girls and the boy boxers in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates on October 8-17 while the last continental event for the youth athletes was hosted by Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The registrations are open for all Asian National Federations to the Asian Grand Slam which will be held in Xiamen, China on December 18-22 and four top boxers could attend each weight class. Altogether 13 champions will be crowned in the event in 5 women weight classes and 8 men divisions which are the official Olympic categories.
The first edition of the Asian Grand Slam is a money prize event, all of the medallists will be getting payments during the competition in the city of Xiamen. All of the accommodation, transportation and other important details of the Asian Grand Slam will be coming soon.
