The medallists are revealed at the Yeskin International Youth Tournament in Aktobe

Busy sessions were held at the Yeskin International Youth Tournament in the city of Aktobe, Kazakhstan where a strong competition is underway.
The city of Aktobe is located in the Western part of Kazakhstan on the Ilek river and it is an important cultural and economic centre.
Boxers who were born in 2007 and in 2008, are eligible to participate in the Yeskin International Youth Tournament in Aktobe.
Kazakhstan’s youth event is a selection competition for the upcoming top events and the coaches are looking for new talents in Aktobe where the boxers are aiming for titles from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg).
Kyzyl-Orda region’s Dias Alpysbay is one of the big names in the competition and the minimumweight (48kg) boxer was too strong for Zhandaulet Zhandeke.
Kostanay region’s Yerassyl Malik delivered another strong performance in the smallest weight class and he eliminated Batyrkhan Ismailov winning the bout unanimously.
Nursat Mazhitov is a flyweight (51kg) talent from the Atyrau region and he bowed out Kyrgyzstan’s Yntymak Askaraliyev in a hectic contest. Akmola region’s Vladislav Perevertun also won his quarter-final in Aktobe, he succeeded over Yerassyl Yaumetdin.
Another Akmola region’s talent, Bekarys Adilbay won the tightest bout at the bantamweight (54kg) and he defeated a strong rival, Aldiyar Iskakov by split decision.
Kyzyl-Orda region’s Nursayat Tynysbekov stopped Medeu Yegembergenov in the second round of the featherweight (57kg) but Zangar Bekbolat delivered the main sensation in this category after beating Astana’s favourite, Darkhan Ussen.
Ali Mereke joined to the youth age group this January but as a junior he competed in various international events throughout Serbia and Kazakhstan. The lightweight (60kg) talent is now a guaranteed medallist in Aktobe after beating Ali Yessenzhan from the Atyrau region.
Tagir Satayev won three international competitions in 2023 and he represented Kazakhstan also at the annual ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships. After his strong training sessions, he returned to the light middleweight (71kg) and he eliminated Duman Anarbek with a strong performance.
Uzbekistan’s duo such as Mukhammadaziz Abduvaliyev (80kg) and the younger Bakhtiyor Issayev (86kg), both won their quarter-finals in Aktobe.
