The Indonesian National Training Camp holds for their elite boxers in Ciseeng

The Indonesian elite national team returned to the training camp following the preparation of the boxers in their own regional gyms. The Indonesian Boxing Federation arranged the training camp, all necessary protocols for their best elite boxers. Asian Games bronze medallist Huswatun Hasanah and their new star Maikhel Roberrd Muskita were also invited to the national training camp.

The Covid-19 safety measures are important and all of their boxers passed successfully the medical tests several times in the previous months. The Indonesians have been preparing to the upcoming World Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event and to the other goals of 2021 including the Southeast Asian Games and the ASBC Asian Boxing Championships.

The venue of the training camp is the picturesque Ciseeng, in Bogor which is famous of its hot thermal waters. The venue is not so far away from the capital city, Jakarta and offers wonderful environment for the boxers. Former Olympian star boxer Mr. Ballo Hermensen and experienced Mr. Ronny Sigarlaki are the coaches in the national training camp and arranged the schedule of the athletes.

Indonesia’s best female boxer, Huswatun Hasanah amazed in the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games where she claimed bronze medal at the women’s lightweight (60kg). The 22-year-old boxer reached her career highlight in Jakarta two years ago but she is aiming to get a new top international result in the upcoming year.

Aldoms Suguro won the title of the flyweight (52kg) at the Kuala Lumpur 2017 Southeast Asian Games and has got strong technical skills to achieve his next highlight. Lucky Hari and Jill Mandagie are Indonesia’s best hopes at the featherweight (57kg) who have been fighting for the place in the national team. Farrand Papendang attended several editions of the ASBC Asian Boxing Championships in the recent seven years and his hard work could be paid off in the upcoming events. Indonesia’s new sensation Maikhel Roberrd Muskita competed at the Bangkok 2018 ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships and also at the Budapest 2018 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships was near to qualify to the Tokyo Olympic Games at the Asian & Oceanian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event in Amman short after his 19th birthday. The teenage middleweight (75kg) hope is Indonesia’s best future hope in our combat sport who trains hard since the Qualifier to achieve his goals.
