The final line-ups are confirmed at the Kyrgyzstan Elite National Championships

The semi-finals of the Kyrgyzstan Elite National Championships confirmed the final line-ups of the competition at the Kozhomkul Sports Complex in Bishkek.
The Kyrgyzstan Elite National Championships is the last selection event for the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships which will be held from November 28.
Altogether 103 men elite boxers are participating in the Kyrgyzstan Elite National Championships from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg) and 13 champions will receive their gold medals.
The women’s featherweight (57kg) was the most difficult category in the female part of the National Championships where the two main favourites as the veteran Shakhriza Khalilova and Medina Abyldayeva failed to join the finals in Bishkek. The final will be held between Bishkek’s Aynazik Rustambek Kyzy and Dzhalal-Abad region’s Miraida Tashbolotova.
Asylbek Amankul Uulu is a small boxer even at the men’s minimumweight (48kg) but he has the speed and the energetic attacks to beat his taller rivals. He managed his pathway to the finals of the National Championships and will be meeting with Durusbek Aitmatov of Osh.
Bishkek’s Anvarzhan Khodzhiyev won several competitions this year including the Strandja Memorial Tournament and the Duisenkul Shopokov Tournament as well. The 22-year-old boxer advanced to the finals of the Nationals and he will now meet Dzhenish Ulpatov for the title of the competition.
Dzhalal-Abad’s Asian Youth silver medallist 18-year-old Zafarbek Kamilov moved up successfully to the bantamweight (54kg) and he will compete against Azizbek Khodzhayev in a surprise final.
Bishkek’s No.1, Sanzhar Seidakmatov, the two-time World Championships quarter-finalist, advanced to the final of the featherweight (57kg) where he will now face Turgunbek Imankadyrov of Chui region.
The two main favourites of the Kyrgyz National Championships, the ASBC Asian Youth Champion Almaz Orozbekov and Bishkek’s strong international boxer, Ikhtiyar Nishonov advanced to the finals of the men’s welterweight (67kg).
Eldar Turdubayev and Syrgak Abdyzhapar Uulu both have strong international results and the two boxers will decide the title of the men’s light middleweight (71kg). Osh’s 22-year-old strong puncher, Islombek Turgunov and Dzhalal-Abad region’s Daniel Abdurakhmanov will meet for the title of the middleweight (75kg).
Omurbek Bekzhigit Uulu and Sagyn Satybaldy Uulu both earned medals in the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships therefore their light heavyweight (80kg) final will be the most anticipated one in Bishkek. The Rio Olympian Erkin Adylbek Uulu and the 18-year-old talent Azim Choybekov will meet for the gold medal at the cruiserweight (86kg).
