The Chiefs De Mission Meeting was held in the Asian Games in Jakarta

The Chiefs De Mission Meeting was held in the Asian Games for the team managers and officials in Jakarta. President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association Mr. Serik Konakbayev led the important meeting just before the start of the Asian Games.
Vice-President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Yousuf Ali Al-Kazim of Qatar, President of the Indonesian Boxing Federation Mr. Johnny Asadoma and General Secretary of the Indonesian Boxing Federation Ms. Shelly Selowati Soejono are working hard also for the success of the Asian Games where 31 countries are attending in the boxing event.
After the roll call of the countries the delegations informed about the schedule of the competition, the competition venue, the coaches’ requirements, the test scales, the official draw, the scoring system, the new rules, the equipments, the requirements during the competition and other important issues as well. All participants shall to follow the AIBA Disciplinary Code and respect for all rules of the championships.

August 24 – Preliminaries in two sessions (from 14:00 and 18:00)
August 25 – Preliminaries in two sessions (from 13:00 and 18:00)
August 26 – Preliminaries in two sessions (from 13:00 and 18:00)
August 27 – Preliminaries in two sessions (from 13:00 and 18:00)
August 28 – Quarter-finals in two sessions (from 13:00 and 18:00)
August 29 – Quarter-finals in two sessions (from 13:00 and 18:00)
August 30 – Rest Day
August 31 – Semi-finals in two sessions (from 14:00 and 18:00)
September 1, 14:00 – Finals
