The biddings and the guidelines for the five 2019 ASBC Asian Championships are open

The Asian Boxing Confederation arrived to a new milestone to develop the sport in the continent in the final stage of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic era. The Asian Boxing Confederation decided to schedule five different continental events to cover each age group and both genders’ competitions in 2019.
The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation sent through the bidding guidelines to each National Federation of the continent about the upcoming five ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships. The bidding documents contain all necessary information about the 2019 ASBC Championships.
The upcoming five 2019 editions of the ASBC Confederation Championships are the followings:
1. 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Men’s Elite Boxing Championships
The 2019 edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Men’s Elite Boxing Championships could be a qualification event for the 2019 AIBA World Boxing Championships and also an important preparation tournament for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Boxers who were born between 1979 and 2000 are eligible to compete in the event and its planning date is end of April and the first days of May.
2. 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Elite Boxing Championships
The 2019 edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Elite Boxing Championships will be also a top preparation tournament for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Boxers who were born between 1979 and 2000 are eligible to compete in the event and its planning date is between August and October depends on the host country and the detailed international calendar.
3. 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation U22 Boxing Championships
The Asian Boxing Confederation is planning to launch this new competition for the best men and women boxers who joined to the elite age groups to keep them in the sport. Boxers who were born between 1997 and 2000 will be eligible to attend in the 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation U22 Boxing Championships. These young boxers need strong experiences in the international level to make big things in their future career and ASBC has been focusing to their development and giving the chance to win Asian U22 titles. ASBC is planning to host the U22 event in November 2019.
4. 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships
The 2018 edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships was a qualification event for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. Following that the 2019 edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships could see some of our next Olympic heroes. Women and men boxers who were born in 2001 and in 2002 are eligible to attend in the event in 2019. The planning date of the 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships is the second part of June.
5. 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships
The 2017 edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships was a great success in Puerto Princesa and continuing our tradition the next event for the 15-16 year-old age group to be continued in 2019. Boxers who were born in 2003 and in 2004 will be able to compete in the 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships. At the very first time the best Asian women junior boxers also can join to the competition. The planning date of the 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships is the end of July.
