The Asian Boxing Confederation wishes Happy Independence Day for the Boxing Federation of India

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, furthermore the whole ASBC management are sending their best wishes to the Boxing Federation of India and the Indian Boxing Family on their Independence Day.

The Indian Independence Day is celebrated on August 15 every year as national holiday commemorating the country’s independence from the United Kingdom in 1947 on this day.

British India was divided into India and Pakistan during the independence along the religious lines of the area. Their First Prime Minister Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian national flag above the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort in New Delhi on August 15 in 1947.

The ASBC management wish all the best to the Indian Boxing Family on this special celebration day which contains flag parades and many cultural events throughout the whole South Asian country.

The Indian boxers have been preparing hard to the upcoming ASBC Asian Junior & Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Boxing Championships which will be held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates later this month and beginning of September.
