The Asian Boxing Confederation congratulates to the new President in the Saudi Boxing Federation Mr. Turki Abdulmohsen Alalshikh
The whole management of the Asian Boxing Confederation congratulates to Mr. Turki Abdulmohsen Alalshikh who appointed as the new President in the Saudi Boxing Federation by the His Highness the Royal Crown Prince.
Mr. Turki Abdulmohsen Alalshikh has the full support from the President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee his Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal as well stated in his social media post.
Mr. Turki Abdulmohsen Alalshikh was born in Saudi Arabia on August 4 in 1981 and currently he is the adviser at the Royal Court and he is the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority.
He is the Chairman of the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation and previously the Honorary President of Al-Taawoun in Buraidah, which is a famous professional multi-sports club in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi official won the Arab Sport Culture Award in 2017, he was the Arab Sports Personality of the Year in 2018 and the famous British newspaper, The Independent named him as the “Top 50 Most Influential Figures in Boxing and MMA” in 2024. He is also strongly involved in the Saudi Arabian film industry.
Mr. Turki Abdulmohsen Alalshikh will serve the country’s boxing life as President in the next years until 2028 and he has strategic plans with strong management to accomplish their goals in this cycle.
Saudi Arabia hosted all of their regional qualifying events and the National Championships for all age groups in the recent weeks to select the best boxers.
Saudi Arabia will send boxers to the upcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships to Colombo, Sri Lanka which will start on May 10.
