The ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships will be a prize money event

The upcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on May 10-24 and the Asian Boxing Family received a great news about the competition.

The President of the International Boxing Association Mr. Umar Kremlev will support the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships with prize money, he confirmed that to the management of the Asian Boxing Confederation.

The IBA will fully cooperate with the Asian Boxing Confederation during the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships as in the previous competitions.

The boxers are the most important for the International Boxing Association and the Asian Boxing Confederation and the prize moneys will support their daily life and preparations for the future actions.

The Asian boxers received prize money several times in the previous ASBC Asian Boxing Championships and the new edition will be also a possibility for them to get cash next to their medals.

The Director General of Sports at the Sri Lankan Department of Sports Development Mr. Shemal Fernando informed the President of the Boxing Association of Sri Lanka, Dr. Anuruddha Shanaka Bandara in an official letter to conclude the upcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships in the highest level.

The ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships is important for the Sri Lankan sports authorities to make that happen in high international standard, to increase the international relations, to promote Sri Lanka’s sport tourism. Their next goal is to make the event memorable and comfortable for all of the participants in Sri Lanka’s capital.

The registrations for the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships are in progress and this is available for all of the affiliated National Federations.

The boxers who were born in 2003, 2004, 2005 and in 2006 will be eligible to participate in the U22 age group in Colombo.

The boxers who are members of the 2007 and 2008 age groups will have the right to compete in the youth part of the busy championships.
