The 2nd Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Festival and its training camp will start in Urumqi on September 25

The Chinese Boxing Federation has a lot of strategic plans for the future following their three Olympic gold medal in our sport and their next initiative is coming soon in Urumqi.
The 2nd Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Festival will be held in Urumqi and Yili City in the Xinjiang region of China between September 23 and October 10.
The Belt & Road International Youth Boxing Festival will include international training camp, competition, forum, Referee & Judge and Coaches seminars.
The Chinese Boxing Federation and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Municipal Government are the organizers of the Festival.
The President of the Chinese Boxing Federation, Mr. Chen Liren is waiting for the participation of the young athletes in Urumqi to build up strong international relations and the next generations of talents.
Boxing is one of the most popular sports in the Xinjiang region of China, their two-time Olympian Tuohetaerbieke Tanglatihan earned a gold medal in the last edition of the Asian Games and a silver in the 2023 World Boxing Championships.
Boxers who were born in 2006 and in 2007, all are able to participate in the training camp and the competition.
All of the delegations will be able to arrive to the Urumqi Diwobao International Airport on September 23-24. The local organizers will provide the transportation from the Airport to the hotels and the competition venues.
The price of the training camp and the competition is 40 USD per person per day in case of double occupancy and 70 USD in single uses.
The venue of the event is the Xinjiang International Boxing Training Centre in Urumqi which has excellent facilities.
The female youth boxers will be able to compete at the 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 81kg and +81kg weight classes.
The male youth boxers can enter to the Boxing Festival at the 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg, 86kg, 92kg and +92kg weight classes.
