The 26th Baurzhan Aksholakov Tournament will start in Aktobe on October 29
The 26th edition of the Baurzhan Aksholakov Tournament will be held in the city of Aktobe, Kazakhstan between October 29 and November 3 this year.
The city of Aktobe is located in the Western part of Kazakhstan, near to the Russian boarder and famous of its boxing life as well.
The competition was named after Mr. Baurzhan Aksholakov who was an iconic person in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan.
The registrations for the 26th Aksholakov Tournament are open until October 11 and the local organizers are waiting for referees and judges with the team delegations.
The elite boxers who were born in 2006 or older are eligible to compete in the Aksholakov Tournament in Aktobe.
The male weight classes are the official 13 divisions in the competition: 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg,71kg, 75kg, 80kg, 86kg, 92kg and +92kg.
Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan also sent boxers to Kazakhstan in the busy 2021 edition when 142 elite male boxers competed for the medals and prizes in Aktobe. Karim Serkebayev, Vasiliy Samchuk, Zoirjon Jumanazarov and Zhanibek Kartbayev were the bests in that record-breaking edition.
Altogether 115 boxers competed in the 2022 edition of the Aksholakov Tournament in Kazakhstan and young talents such as Bekzat Aldamzharov, Ruslan Kuzeubayev, Nurkadam Abdresh and Erkhat Bekzat were among the winners.

November 3-4 – Departure of the delegations
