The 19-year-old talents as Boltayev, Ummataliyev and Erkinboyev all shined in an international event in Chyrchyk

The Remembrance and Appreciation Day Tournament was held in the city of Chyrchyk where 13 elite male boxers celebrated their gold medals, mostly still U22 talents.

Chyrchyk is located near to the capital city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent and it is famous for its boxing schools.

Altogether 152 elite male boxers competed in the six-days long international competition and the Uzbeks earned 11 out of the 13 titles in Chyrchyk. Kazakhstan, Russia and Chinese Taipei also sent squads to the Remembrance and Appreciation Day Tournament.

Uzbekistan’s Muhammad Sativaldiyev knocked out his semi-final opponent, Jalil Askarov and he continued his winning path in the final against Khusanboy Mirsaidov at the minimumweight (48kg).

The flyweight (51kg) is always a strong category in Uzbekistan and their Kamronbek Mannobov succeeded against his main rivals as Kazakhstan’s Tileuberdi Suleymeni and Tashkent’s Abdullokh Sattorov.

Kazakhstan sent a strong team to Chyrchyk and among them Meirambek Alpysbay succeeded at the bantamweight (54kg). The young Kazakh defeated all of his Uzbek opponents including his final challenger, Mirakhror Lutfullayev.

Samandar Kholmurodov, the former Asian Youth Champion, is No.2 at the featherweight (57kg) in Uzbekistan behind their star, the World Champion and Asian Games winner Abdumalik Khalokov. The 24-year-old Kholmurodov defeated his main rivals such as Mirzabek Mirzakhalilov and Ayubkhon Bakhtiyorov in Tashkent.

Sayat Ilyasov, an Asian Youth silver medallist, won the light welterweight (63.5kg) in Chyrchyk and another young Uzbek, Khasan Orazaliyev claimed the title at the welterweight (67kg) after beating Bilolbek Ikhvolov.

The next generation of Uzbek talents from the 2005 age group, their Asian Youth Champions as Shavkatjon Boltayev (71kg), Javokhir Ummataliyev (75kg) and Fazliddin Erkinboyev (80kg) won the next titles in Chyrchyk. Ummataliyev defeated a former Asian Youth Champion, Sukhrobjon Kayimov while their super talented Erkinboyev was too smart for Nurislom Ismoilov.

Another Asian Youth Champion Uzbek, the 19-year-old Abdulaziz Abdurakhmonov made a small surprise in the final of the heavyweight (92kg) when he defeated Diyorbek Uralov. Nurmuhammad Akhmedov from the Surkhondarya region won the super heavyweight (+92kg) in Chyrchyk after his tight success over Abdurakhim Jurayev.
