Successful coordination visit in the venue of the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Tashkent

The Executive Director of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Bagdaulet Turekhanov has done the important coordination visit in the venue of the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships which will be holding from April 27 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan where record number of boxers is expecting to take part.
Mr. Bagdaulet Turekhanov visited the main venue of the ASBC Asian Confederation Continental Championships in Bangkok and discussed the final schedule of the competition and details of the opening ceremony with the Supervisor of the championships India’s Mr. Kishen Narsi, AIBA Competition Coordinator Ms. Ksenia Em and AIBA TV & Event Coordinator Mr. Leonard Patrelle.
The delegation visited all hotels where the AIBA/ASBC officials, ITOs, Referees & Judges, coaches, athletes and accredited media members will be accommodated in Tashkent. The delegation had negotiations with all important members of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation during the Coordination visit.
The venue of the competition is the Uzbekistan Sport Complex which is perfect for such a huge boxing event as the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships where the number of the seats, the lighting, the services and the whole environment could be delivered a remarkable competition next month.
The registrations to the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships are open and several of our developing Asian nations such as Afghanistan, Bhutan, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Lebanon, Qatar and Sri Lanka are also planning to send teams to Tashkent.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships will be also the lone qualification event for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships which will be taking place in August 25 – September 4.
