Registrations are open for the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships which will be taking place in the Philippines in August 1-7
The registrations for the 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships is open in the AIBA Database since June 1 and all Asian National Federations must be entered their squad list and officials until June 30. Boxing Association of the Philippines and Asian Boxing Confederation are welcome all teams from Asia.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships will be held in 13 official weight classes: 46kg, 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 80kg and +80kg. The ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships will be taking place in the Philippines where boxers who were born in 2001 and in 2002 are eligible to take part in the competition.
Asian Boxing Confederation is expected to take part record number of nations and boxers in the 2017 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships in the Philippines. Philippines hosted the 2013 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Subic Bay successfully with the participation of 24 countries therefore the host country has got experiences to arrange highest level of services for all Asian nations.
The date of the arrival to the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships is July 30 while the departure from the Philippines is August 8. The competition period of the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships is August 1-7 including with a rest day after the quarter-finals on August 5.
