Registrations are open for the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships

The registrations for the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships are open in the AIBA Database. All of the National Federations can register their boxers in the AIBA Database until March 30.
The upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in a few weeks. The competition period of the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Tashkent is April 30 – May 7. Boxers who were born between 1977 and 1998 are eligible to box in the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Tashkent.
Tashkent welcomed the men’s elite boxers in the 1995 and in the 1999 editions of the Asian Boxing Championships and the event will be returning to the city after 18 years. The capital city of Uzbekistan, Tashkent hosted the 2015 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships with great success two years ago.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships will be the lone qualification event for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships. Asia has got 60 quota places for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships, six in each weight classes. The best six boxers from the light flyweight (49kg) up to the super heavyweight (+91kg) will be qualified for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships.
