Only 10 days left until the first competition day of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships

The final countdown started for the upcoming ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships as only 10 days left until the first competition day. The new edition of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan between October 21 and November 4 and its first competition day is October 23.

The ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships will be one of the greatest ever boxing competitions in the continent with the participation of around 500 boxers from 28 countries and all regions.

The room rates of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships includes three meals per day, the local transportation, the medical care during the bouts and 1kg of laundry per night per person as additional information for the delegations.

India has registered maximum number of 51 boxers to the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships following their national championships in both age groups. The South Asian boxing power is expecting several gold medals in Astana, especially their women boxers are in strong position to achieve their goals.

Jordan received extra financial support to participate in this championship in Astana and their National Federation could finally increase the number of their competitors up to 15. Among the Western Asian countries, Iraq will also send a strong team to the championship as in the recent years.

The Kazakhstan Boxing Federation hosted the Asian Junior Boxing Championships in Shymkent in 2013 and the Asian Youth Boxing Championships in Pavlodar seven years ago. Their last international competition was the Elorda Cup this summer which was organized in their capital city, in Astana.

The city of Astana hosted the 2011 Cadet World Boxing Championships, the 2012 Asian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event, several rounds in the previous World Series of Boxing and the 2016 Women’s World Boxing Championships. Astana will be also the host of the 2024 Women’s World Boxing Championships.

The Kazakhstan Boxing Federation is ready to host the event in the highest possible standard in a fantastic venue in Astana. The local fans will guaranteed the specific atmosphere of the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships.
