Nearly 200 boxers are already entered to the famous King of the Ring Tournament but the registrations are still open until October 30
The 12th edition of the King of the Ring Tournament will be held for the elite, youth, junior and schoolboys in the city of Boras, Sweden on November 2-6. The registrations are open until October 30 but 187 boxers from several nations have already been registered to compete in the new edition of the King of the Ring Tournament.
Mr. Ray Husac is the tournament director, the engine of the region’s boxing life who organises two huge international competitions every year, the King of the Ring and the Golden Girl.
The King of the Ring was launched in 2012 and after a few years in business, it became a small world championship with the participation of 500-600 boxers. Following France’s Hugo Grau’s success in 2021, the current King of the Ring is England’s Isaac Okoh.
The Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is the nearest option to Boras, only 20 minutes by car to the hotels. The Jazz Hotel, the Hostels, the Scandic Plaza Hotel and the Grand Hotel are the options for the accommodations in Boras.
Any of the teams that would need visa assistance to enter Sweden, the local organizers could be provided an invitation letter to support the process.
