Mr. Serik Konakbayev and ASBC congratulate to the elected President of the Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation Mr. Omar M. Alghamdi

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and AIBA Vice-President Mr. Serik Konakbayev, furthermore the management of the Asian Boxing Confederation congratulate to the elected President of the Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation to Mr. Omar M. Alghamdi and the new Board members of the country.
Mr. Ahmad M. Alsalem is the new Vice-President, Mr. Abdullah Alhassan is the Secretary General while the Board members are Mr. Ahmad S. Shahini, Mr. Mohammed Torabi and Mr. Ahmed Alngai. Saudi Arabia is a developing Arabic boxing nation which reached its best ever performance at the last Gulf Countries Tournament. The country has got national events in all of the age groups from the schoolboys up to the elite level.
Saudi Arabia launched its new strategic program which starts in the upcoming months and its end point is the next edition of the Asian Games which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2018. The Saudi Arabians are planning to join to more competitions in the next months and years after their international training camps. Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation has got great relationships with the neighboring countries, also with Egypt and Kazakhstan.
