Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov returned from Kazakhstan to Nepal and signed a new contract with the South Asian country for longer term to develop boxing. ASBC President Mr. Serik Konakbayev and the management of the Asian Boxing Confederation supported Nepal Boxing Association to take Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov for the Nepal Boxing Federation.
In the recent three months he tried to build up Nepal’s coaches and boxers using his experiences from Kazakhstan to develop the country’s training background. Nepal Boxing Federation organized a Farewell and Press Meeting to introduce Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov’s activities in the recent three months in the country a few weeks ago which was also an important activity to underline his importance.
Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov attended with one 14-year-old talent in the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships in Puerto Princesa, Philippines and introduced his work could be successful in long term in Nepal. Nepal has got nearly 10,000 boxers in all age groups in the country which would be the base of their future development and potential in our beloved combat sport.
The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation and official supplier of the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships, the Wesing company, supported Nepal Boxing Federation with new equipments in Puerto Princesa. Nepal Boxing Federation is planning to use the new gloves and equipments in their upcoming national events.
