Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan shared the gold medals at the Manarbek Ikhsanov Junior Tournament

The Manarbek Ikhsanov Junior Tournament was held in the city of Uralsk in Kazakhstan and three countries shared the titles: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The winners of the international junior event won not only gold medals, but prize moneys and new iPhone 15 mobile phones as well.
Oral, also known as Uralsk, is a city in northwestern Kazakhstan at the confluence of the Ural and Chagan rivers and it is the capital of West Kazakhstan region. Boxers from Uralsk won several medals in the junior and youth tournaments in Kazakhstan and their boxing life is in developing stage.
Kazakhstan has dozens of events every year and the city of Uralsk and the West Kazakhstan region are planning to raise their activities in the future. The boxers who were born in 2009 and in 2010 were eligible to participate in the Ikhsanov Memorial Tournament.
Mr. Manarbek Ikhsanov was gold medallist at the 1982 Kazakh SSR Junior Championships and he achieved several other strong results in boxing representing the city of Uralsk.
Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan participated in the Manarbek Ikhsanov Junior Memorial Tournament.
The local Kazakh boxers claimed eight gold medals in the international junior event and among them Aktau region’s Zhanarys Duisenbay, the 16-year-old talent, dominated the featherweight (57kg) with impressive performance. Dias Sabit (60kg), Kuanysh Amankul (70kg) and Yerkebulan Ali (80kg) are further boxers who need to be watched in the future.
The Kyrgyz team achieved four gold medals in Uralsk and their ASBC Asian Schoolboys bronze medallist Muslim Pansher controlled the bouts at the pinweight (46kg). Their current Junior National Champions such as Zubair Akramov (57kg) and Abubakr Duysheyev (66kg), additionally
The Tajiks bagged two titles in the Ikhsanov Junior Tournament their Bekhruz Umarov impressed at the light flyweight (48kg) final against Russia’s Roman Solovyov. The second Tajik, Amir Nozimov was too smart for Kazakhstan’s Mirkhan Dukeyev at the middleweight (75kg) final.
One of the Tajik future stars, the ASBC Asian Schoolboys silver medallist 14-year-old Firuzjon Boymatov moved up from the 37kg weight class to the 44kg and he joined the junior boxers only this January but he claimed a valuable bronze in Uralsk.
