The elite boxing teams from Jordan and Iran train together in Amman in order to prepare well to the upcoming Asian Games. The multisport event will be the first Qualifier for the Asian boxers and the first competition day in Hangzhou is September 23.
Amman was the host of the 2020 Asian & Oceanian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event, the 2022 ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships and the 2022 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships as well. Shakhbakhsh achieved that bronze medal also at the lightweight (60kg) as Abu Jajeh but two years earlier than the boxer from Jordan.
Jordan’s last main event was the Arab Sports Games in Algeria where the country acquired another huge milestone in their boxing life. Four Iranian coaches as Mr. Hosseingholi Nohroudi, Mr. Homayoun Amiri, Mr. Mahmoud Nohtani and Mr. Mohammad Hosseinpoor support the work in Amman.
