India’s experienced Mr. Kishen Narsi is the Supervisor in the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan where the competition turned to its final phase with the gold medal bouts and its box-offs. We asked Mr. Narsi to share with us his opinions about this ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships.
“Uzbekistan Boxing Federation worked hard to host this amazing ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Tashkent in spite of the fact their team had only two and half months to prepare to this event.
I was involved to boxing more than 50 years ago and I can mention the level of the organization is wonderful including the transportation, accommodation and all kind of services. Uzbekistan Boxing Federation worked well in the preparations in all aspects and their hospitality is famous.
We have got full house in Uzbekistan Sports Complex and the crowd makes the championships so memorable for all of us. Hopefully these superb contests and the remarkable atmosphere will be inspiring the new generations.
Uzbekistan has got powerful team, their boxers achieved seven medals in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, six medals in the Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships therefore no surprise, their squad is the best here in Tashkent.
Kazakhstan is always strong in any competitions and their young talents performed well in this event in Tashkent. The performance of China, India and Mongolia are really impressed me in the previous competition days.
We have got great ITO team here and I am so grateful for their hard work in the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships,”
said Mr. Kishen Narsi after the semi-finals in the venue.
