India claimed two fantastic gold medals in the super strong Chemistry Cup in Germany where Jordan also had finalist

The Chemistry Cup is one of the strongest European international competitions where three Asian teams are attending as preparation for the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games. India finally claimed two gold medals in the competition where Cuba, Russia, Ukraine, United States of America, Ireland and Germany also attended with their best teams.
India, Jordan and Qatar were taking part in the Chemistry Cup with their top boxers to prepare themselves actively to the Asian Games. India had three finalists in the 45th edition of the Chemistry Cup following Gaurav Solanki, Madan Lal and Mohamed Hussamuddin defeated their rivals on Day3 when Jordan’s Obada Al-Kasbeh also has done a remarkable performance advancing to the finals. Among them Gaurav Solanki and Mohamed Hussamuddin won the titles in the Chemistry Cup.
India’s Commonwealth Games gold medallist Gaurav Solanki was Youth Olympian four years ago but he needed time to reach the top level of the elite boxers. The 21-year-old Indian flyweight (52kg) talent eliminated Ireland’s Conor Quinn in the semi-final and advanced to the gold medal bout in Halle. Solanki’s opponent was Cuba’s AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships Jorge Alejandro Grinan in the final which bout was a spectacular one. The Indian boxer had slightly better efficiency in the title contest and won the bout by split decision in Halle.
India’s Strandja Memorial Tournament runner-up Mohamed Hussamuddin won bronze medal in the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and has done superb performance in the third and fourth competition days in Halle as well. The 24-year-old Indian bantamweight (56kg) boxer defeated Germany’s best future hope Hamsat Shadalov who eliminated Cuba’s two-time Olympic Games winner Robeisy Ramirez in the quarter-finals. Following that success Hussamuddin had to meet in the final with his teammate Madan Lal and he looked more fresh. Hussamuddin was strong and smart in the day of the finals and delivered the second gold medal for India.
Jordan’s Rio 2016 Olympian and Asian Games bronze medallist Obada Al-Kasbeh eliminated Russia’s former AIBA Junior World Champion Ivan Kozlovskii in the quarter-final of the light welterweight (64kg). Jordan’s experienced boxer defeated also Indian opponent Dheeraj Singh using his amazing physical condition in the semi-finals of the Chemistry Cup. Jordan’s No.1 settled for the silver finally following he was not able to box in the final against Cuba’s defending AIBA World Champion Andy Cruz.
