Orazbek Assylkulov is a fantastic and technician boxer at the featherweight (57kg) but he is always No.2 in Kazakhstan. He shined in the last edition of the Strandja Memorial Tournament one year ago and he returned to the Bulgarian event with a clear success over Ukraine’s Vladyslav Stas.

India’s duo, Sachin (57kg) and the Commonwealth Games runner-up Sagar Ahlawat (+92kg) both defeated strong rivals in the third day of boxing in Sofia. Iran’s Ali Habibinezhad moved back to the light welterweight (63.5kg) successfully and he caused one of the main sensations of the day with his success over India’s Youth World Champion Vanshaj. Another Asian hope in this weight class, Mongolia’s Enkhtur Tegshjargal dominated his today’s bout over Ukraine’s Hennadii Maslennikov. Adkhamjon Mukhiddinov eliminated a Paris Olympian boxer, Ireland’s Dean Patrick Clancy at the light welterweight (63.5kg) but the best Uzbek of the day was the super heavyweight (+92kg) star, Jakhongir Zokirov. The four-time Asian Champion Uzbek talent impressed against Iran’s Iman Ramezanpour, winning all of the three rounds on the scorecards.
