Forty days left until the start of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships

Forty days left until the start of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships which will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka for the very first time.
The event period of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships in the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka is between May 10 and 24.
The first competition day of the ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships will take place in Colombo on May 12 while the finals are scheduled to be held in two last sessions on May 22 and 23.
Sri Lanka has never hosted any of the Asian Boxing Championships therefore the upcoming championships will be not only a historic edition in the South Asian country, but also a new milestone in their boxing life.
The President of the Sri Lankan Boxing, Mr. Anuruddha Shanaka Bandara worked hard in the recent months to develop all aspects of boxing in the South Asian country. Sri Lanka arranged several competitions in the recent half year including the Clifford Cup, the Layton Cup and their annual National Elite Boxing Championships in the highest level.
The team delegations’ handbook of the forthcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships has been issued and sent to all of the National Federations earlier this month.
The logo of the upcoming ASBC Asian U22 & Youth Boxing Championships has revealed and introduced to the stakeholders and all boxing fans a few weeks ago.
The boxers who were born in 2003, 2004, 2005 and in 2006 will be eligible to participate in the U22 age group in Colombo.
The boxers who are members of the 2007 and 2008 age groups will have the right to compete in the youth part of the busy championships.
