Bahrain Boxing Federation is restructured and working on the strategic plans to develop boxing

A developing member in our continent the Bahrain Boxing Federation has just recently restructured in accordance to the newly formed Board. Bahrain Boxing Federation is working on their strategic plans in order to develop boxing first in the national level and after that their international presence in the future.
Mr. Khalid Aziz Alkhayyat the President of the Bahrain Boxing Federation is working hard to send their athletes to international events following the national team has been formed. Their boxers attended in the 2016 Gulf Countries Tournament in Riyadh and the squad trained in Saudi Arabia in a joint camp.
Bahrain joined to the Gulf Countries Tournament in 2016 and the tiny island sent out their boxers to an international event at the very first time. Bahrain’s Hamad Husain and Abdullatif Ahmed both claimed two bronze medals in the Gulf Countries Tournament in Riyadh which was their first step in the international boxing map.
