ASBC President Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira sends his condolence to Mr. Hemanta Kumar Kalita’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira of Thailand and the whole ASBC management send their sincere condolences to Mr. Hemanta Kumar Kalita’s family following his father, Joy Kanta passed away at the age of 86.  

Mr. Joy Kanta Kalita died during the Christmas festive season when his son arranged the organization of the Indian National Championships. Mr. Hemanta Kumar Kalita is the Secretary General of Boxing Federation of India and he was appointed as the Chairman of the ASBC Youth Commission this month.

The Asian Boxing Confederation and the Asian Boxing Family will never forget his father’s support to our sport.

May his soul will rest in eternal peace in India.
