ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the whole management send their sincere condolences to Kazakhstan’s Aitzhanov’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association Mr. Anas Alotaiba, furthermore the whole ASBC management send their sincere condolences to Kazakhstan’s Myrzagali Aitzhanov’s family following her mother Mrs. Tunzhyr Aitzhanova died at the age of 81.

Kazakhstan’s top coach, Mr. Myrzagali Aitzhanov lost two family members already this year, his father’s in-law Mr. Asker Shungarayev and his brother’s in-law Mr. Askar Shungarayev both passed away on July 2020.

Mr. Myrzagali Aitzhanov is one of the best coaches in the whole world who led the success of their men’s elite team in the recent years. He delivered amazing success for Kazakhstan at the Almaty 2013 AIBA World Boxing Championships where his squad earned four gold medals. Kazakhstan produced record number of seven gold medals at the Amman 2013 ASBC Asian Boxing Championships.

One of his pupils Daniyar Yeleussinov claimed gold medal for Kazakhstan at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games supported by Mr. Myrzagali Aitzhanov in the ringside. He was the head coach of the elite national team of Kazakhstan almost in the whole decade until 2019. He was replaced as head coach from the Kazakh national team by Mr. Galymbek Kenzhebayev on January 1 in 2019 but he continued to serve the squad as trainer.

May her soul will rest in eternal peace in Kazakhstan.
