ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the whole ASBC management send their sincere condolences to Jordan’s Omar Aljariri’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Anas Alotaiba, furthermore and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Jordan’s boxing official Mr. Omar Khamis Aljariri’s family.

Mr. Omar Khamis Aljariri was an international level boxer in the past who served Jordan’s boxing life as official in the recent decades. He was one of the founders of the famous Al-Baqaa Boxing Club in Jordan and later he became the President of it. The Al-Baqaa Boxing Club hosts a strong international event the Leader Tournament for the elite male boxers and its last edition was held on January 2019.

Mr. Aljariri was board member of the Jordan Boxing Association since the 1990s until his death. He was one of the previous Secretary Generals of the Jordan Boxing Association and during his leadership the country progressed in the international stage.
