ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Mrs. Olga Domuladzhanova’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Anas Alotaiba, furthermore and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Russia’s Mrs. Olga Domuladzhanova’s family following the boxing official passing away at the age of 52 due to Covid-19.

Mrs. Olga Domuladzhanova was born in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR in the Soviet Union on 12 January in 1969. She was one of the pioneers in women’s boxing in the second part of the 1990s and in the first part of the 2000s. She won the European Women’s Cup twice, the Russian Women’s National Championships three-times and also the Russian Women’s National Cup in three occasions.

Mrs. Olga Domuladzhanova reached her career highlight in 2001 when she won the first ever official AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Scranton. She claimed gold medal also at the European Women’s Boxing Championships in France in that year. She worked as Director of the Training Centre of the Russian national teams between 2010 and 2021.

The Asian Boxing Confederation is sending its deepest sympathies to her family and will be remember to her greatness, excellences and impressive results in our sport.

May her soul will rest in eternal peace in Russia.
