ASBC management and Wesing donated the Iraqi team in Puerto Princesa

President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and AIBA Vice-President Mr. Serik Konakbayev, furthermore the ASBC management together with Wesing, the official supplier of the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships, supported the Iraqi national boxing team with new equipments. ASBC Vice-President and President of the Qatar Boxing Federation Mr. Yousuf Ali Al-Kazim presented the donations to the Iraqi officials and boxers.
Iraq sent three boxers to the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships to Puerto Princesa and each of them are among the medal contenders. Iraq’s two top junior boxers competed in the Children of Asia Games with successes and both of them are competing in the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships.
Iraq qualified one boxer Waheed Abderredha Waheed to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and their athletes competed well also in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Iraqi Boxing Federation sent boxers to all ASBC events in 2017, their bests were there in Tashkent and also in Bangkok.
