ASBC Champions as Amantur Dzhumayev and Tolganay Kassymkhan are in the semi-finals in Budva

Three strong sessions have concluded at the Adriatic Pearl Youth Tournament in Budva, Montenegro where Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have several young hopes in the event.
The city hosted the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships last October-November and only after a few months of break, an international event returned to Budva.
The boxers who were born in 2007 and in 2008 are eligible to participate in the 12 women and 13 men weight categories in Budva.
Kazakhstan’s Aknur Tursyngali proved a strong performance at the women’s featherweight (57kg), she won all of the three rounds against Turkey’s Nisanur Yildirim and joined the last four. Her teammate, Regina Tibenyova eliminated Kyrgyzstan’s Elizaveta Lyneva in another quarter-final in the same weight class.
Kazakhstan’s 17-year-old Tolganay Kassymkhan was successful in all of her previous ASBC competitions and the strong lightweight (60kg) champion smashed Turkey’s Pinar Elcik to win their quarter-final bout in the third round.
Kazakhstan’s ASBC Asian Junior silver medallist Akbota Yessimbekova is one gold medal favourites at the women’s welterweight (66kg) who demonstrated her power against Belarus’ Mariya Blizniuk to win their quarter-final by RSC.
Kyrgyzstan also sent a strong team to the Adriatic Pearl Youth Tournament which is their next participation in Montenegro after the Youth World Championships.
Kyrgyzstan’s youth No.1, Amantur Dzhumayev is a Junior World Champion and he achieved a bronze medal at the 2024 Youth World Boxing Championships in Budva as well. The 17-year-old featherweight (57kg) talent had a closer bout than he expected against Turkey’s Furkan Avar but he succeeded in that quarter-final.
Kazakhstan’s Bauyrzhan Muratov competed in several ASBC events as well and he had the technical skills to beat Greece’s European Schoolboys Champion Petros Nearchos Konstantinouidis at the busy men’s featherweight (57kg).
Kazakhstan’s next ASBC medallist, Bekarys Nurmukhan was too smart for Belarus’ Maksim Rybak at the light middleweight (71kg). The Kazakhs at the middleweight (75kg), such as Zhassulan Berdaly and Igor Solovyev, eliminated their opponents, Turkey’s Selcuk Efe Senturk and Belarus’ Ivan Siniak.
