A successful Palestinian National Referee & Judge Workshop was held in Nablus

The Palestine Boxing Federation hosted a national level Referee & Judge Workshop in the city of Nablus to increase the knowledge of their officials. The seven-day long project contained theoretical and practical elements in the Workshop where many young officials and Referees & Judges attended in Nablus.

The Palestinian Boxing Federation had national events for schoolboys and juniors in the recent weeks and they have the strong strategic plans to develop all terms of boxing in the country. The Palestinians are planning to be held more national programs for their coaches, officials, Referees & Judges and doctors in the upcoming years.

Mr. Nader Jayousi is one of the most active coaches in the region who took their younger talents to as many competitions as possible to develop their international experiences. The Palestinian schoolboys and juniors competed international tournaments in Germany, in the Netherlands, in Portugal and some other countries to develop their young talents from the grassroots and basics.

Palestine attended in the Arab Junior Boxing Championships in Kuwait City where their boxers claimed two bronze medals a few weeks ago. Wasim Abusal (48kg) and Jadd Rajab (54kg) are both experienced boxers already among the juniors and their main target is the Children of Asia Games this year. This important multisport event will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on August 15-25.
