A minor change about the upcoming ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships – The new host will be announced shortly
The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation and the local organizers of the upcoming ASBC Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships decided to move the competition from Amman, Jordan due to safety reasons which affects the region’s daily life.
ASBC’s main goal is to provide safety for all of the boxers, coaches, officials and delegation members during this important championship.
The upcoming ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships will be relocated to a new country and the Asian Boxing Confederation to be confirmed the new venue as soon as possible.
The original date of the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships was between November 28 and December 12 and minor one or two days adjustment are possible due to the current situation.
The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation asks all of the National Federations and their teams to continue the preparations for the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships, only the host city will be changed.
The new details will be announced shortly and the ASBC team is working on the best solution to make a memorable championship.
The elite women boxers will be able to compete in the following weight categories: 48kg, 50kg, 52kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63kg, 66kg, 70kg, 75kg, 81kg and +81kg. The elite men boxers will have the right to participate also in 13 different weight categories: 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 63.5kg, 67kg, 71kg, 75kg, 80kg, 86kg, 92kg and +92kg.
Boxers who were born between 1984 and 2005 are eligible to participate in the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships.
