A 1-star Referee & Judge Course is underway in Tehran during their Memorial National Tournament
Iran’s next activity in their homeland, the 1-star Referee & Judge Course with all sessions is underway in Tehran. The theoretical training sessions are holding in Iran’s capital and the national competition also starts today with busy schedule.
Following the Bahrain Boxing Federation hosted a 1-star Referee & Judge Course during their recent National Championships, Iran has the same program in Tehran.
Two experienced officials such as Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib of Syria and Mr. Mohamed Braham of Tunisia are the Instructors there in Iran’s capital. The International Relations Director of the Iranian Boxing Federation, Mrs. Azadeh Moghaddas supports the translation, the agenda and other organizational parts of the R&J course.
The Iranian Boxing Federation’s next competition, the Memorial of their Martyred President Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and Martyrs of Government Tournament has just scheduled to take place two weeks ago and their management made it happen quickly.
Mr. Seyed Ebrahim Raisi served Iran as the eighth President of the country from 2021 until his death in a helicopter crash on May 19, 2024. Following this tragedy, Mr. Mohammad Mokhber preceded him as the Acting President of Iran.
The competition period of the national tournament is June 15-19 and it will be held for the elite male boxers from the minimumweight (48kg) up to the super heavyweight (+92kg) in Tehran. The total number of boxers is 144 in this Memorial of their Martyred President Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and Martyrs of Government Tournament.
